JimFlat6:Light Ivory, it's a warmer white......It's the interior that really needs to be fixed, those.red.accents are as lurid as a bordello.
I shared the same opinion since it appeared on the 997 2RS - but the one I sat in last week had it and it didn't seem as offensive from the inside - and certainly contributed to a 'special' feeling. Having said that I would still have mine with a normal interior..

That looks really good! I don't know if I'd dare take it, even if my own chosen color is pretty 'out there', purple is still purple...

Wow, so many choices..... Right now my thoughts are Brewster, BRG or mabye the deep sea blue. But a long time to go before a have to put the foot down, so will certainly change a few times. Then the wheels....
All that I’m certain of right now is that I won’t go “Reeperbahn” i.e normal interior for me
Thank you all so far, you have all been a great help
I thought I may be the only one who is iffy about the Manthey wheels, I wasn't keen on them 10+ years ago when he was fitting them to 997s and they have only aged even more.... It was interesting to see that the guy from MT agrees.

I'm fascinated about how different are the color preference between users, including myself!
Personally, I would go with a bright blue like voodo, or a sporty red, maybe even a dark metallic grey. The GT2RS to Mee is not a car that would look good in a odd color or elegant color, the car is the sportiest meanest 911, and needs a color that goes with that IMO and not take away from it. In a Turbo or a Carrera it would be completely different.

I know what you meen Carlos. My brother took a salmon GT3 RS and to be honest, I liked it a lot for three weeks, then I got bored with it and so did he... No right or wrong here, but I do agree with you. I want this car to stick out. The question is just in what way

Gnil:There used to be a Golf 2 special edition in violet . Is it the same ?
Could be.. there was some overlap of colours around that time. Viola seemed to feature on the 1993 964 C4 30th Anniversary cars. Around the same time, VW was making Golf GTis in Oak green - which, as you know, was also a series 911 colour.

OK, joking aside, have you thought about Signal Orange? Its more elegant than yellow and regular orange but very sporty at the same time, and the GT2RS needs a color says "speed".
