Looks like it's a lot of fun to drive!!!!!
I have somewhat similar routes within about 35 - 50 miles of my home, with lots of switchbacks and hairpins that go through mountains (not as steep as the ones out in California), and that is why I bought a Porsche 911. The car was made for this type of road. On these roads, only a very skilled motorcyclist can keep up with or pass a 911 driven properly. I have the most fun in my 911 driving on such roads.

I run that route a lot myself. Here is a variation I use at times. Give it a try some time.

Basically from the foot to the top of Mount Tam. Watch for cyclists, but awesome views and superb twisties all the way up. In a 997S its outstanding. Gates to the top of the mountain open at 7am. Do it any morning, and if the fog is in the bay your in for a real treat. See pic below.

Absolutely agree....the Woodside twisties are great fun...and the MtTam drives (among many other great twisties <50mis from SF) are also phenomenal
Really amazing when one considers that many car nuts manage to live in Woodside; many financial guys have their offices on SandHillRd <5mis from twisties (and tech guys within 10-15 mis of Woodside in deeper SiliconValley)....and given some 360d/yr of 60-80F weather around Woodside, w/rain almost exclusively during the winter mths...and endless sun, w/no rain, for 9mos of yr, Woodside truly is a unique place for workaholic car nuts to have an enjoyable, yet convenient, mtn twisties drive several times/wk, all yr long.... 
IMO, makes the steep housing costs of SF/Woodside seem like a "stealth" value (esp vs similar prices in Manhattan/Greenwich...or 2x NYC/SF prices in London)....and the weather/roads/close proximity of office/home/twisties allow the frugal car nut to "subsist" on one new, dual-purpose commuter/wkend car/yr, w/no need for a "beater" car or separate fair-weather wkend car....

Sure. Know it well.
La Honda Rd. (proper) is less twisty than Pescadero Rd. It offers several long sweepers though. The connector between San Gregorio and Pescadero is great (although poorer surfaces); I prefer it in the opposite direction - Pescadero to San Gregorio.
If I had to do just one I would still prefer Pescadero - a beautiful collection of sharp corners, switch-backs, some sweepers and excellent surfaces.
It's nice to see posters commenting on these roads.

Looking at your map brought back memories of looking for the home of friends who lived in Woodside in the days before SatNav. Asked some locals for directions to Canada Road and got blank looks. Being a dumb, non-Spanish speaking, European, I pronounced it Canada. Should have been the Spanish pronounciation Can-iada.
Found our friends' home any and spent some pleasant June days visiting the sites around SF.
Quite a while ago, so I didn't remember the roads around Woodside being such great sports car country, or Woodside being such an affluent neighborhood, for that matter.

I have not yet driven CA 3, 36 or 93. I have driven the beautiful 128. I'm sure they are all terrific. Recently a member posted about 36. One of these days I plan to check this one out.
I think the local coastal roads in the Bay Area are of a different nature. They are shorter rides (20 miles or less) and they are curvier, and some like Pescadero, constantly curvier with short switch backs and tight hairpins. The other day my passenger got seasick.
128 towards Mendocino is a beautiful smooth asphalt ribbon with wide sweepers and not as many tight corners.
At the end of the day they are all great!

The Ft. Bragg to Leggett portion of Hwy 1 is some of the most intense twisties you will ever run. If you are looking for another just amazing, and very lesser known run, here you go. Enjoy.

You and I should meet up some time. We obviously live in the same area. I run these roads all the time as I'm fortunate to live very close by. I can be found at the Boxster Brunch every other month, the PCA social every month, and I'll be at the Coyote rally next month.

You got that right. BTW CA-36 is the only public road I've come across that I actually got airborne (all four wheels). Definitely drew my bag up a notch or two!
