    My 550HP RUF 997tt is here.

    Hi everyone !

    This afternoon I picked up my 997tt TIP with the 550 HP kit installed. This is the FIRST turbo TIP with this kit installed.

    I will test it more thoroughly later on tonight and will give my detailed impressions.

    So far I can say, it is a beast !

    550 HP (at least ! Probably around 570 HP)
    780 NMs at 2500 rpm.

    I have my performance box ready will try to get some acceleration data later on.

    So stay tuned !

    Great news - we're waiting for Dallas RUF outlet to annouce TT upgrades. What did the kit include? Approximate cost? Thanks.

    The kit includes:

    -ECU upgrade
    -Sport air filters
    -Sport Cats (100 Cell)
    -Exhaust with 4 holes (sorry if 'holes' is not the right word) NOT just the exhaust tips with 4 holes but the exhaust itself has 4 outlets.

    Cost: appx 11,000 EUR plus VAT !

    Any suspension changes? Is the rev limit still the same? Do you know what the max boost reads now?

    Hi Eclou,

    No suspension changes, didnt want any. Only added spacers, 7mm in front, 15mm rear.

    Rev limit still the same. Max boost reads still 1.2, but basically all the time now, throughout the rev range. Actual boost is 1.35.

    Hi Lukas,

    Could I please ask about the exhaust that comes with the Ruf kit?

    What does it sound like, how loud is it, and what do the exhaust tips took like?

    I have sent an email to Ruf in Germany asking about if they do an equivalent 997 TT manual version as yet. Still waiting to hear back.

    Can I also please ask as to whether there is now any difference in your car between Sport mode on/off?
