martini964:Grant:What about that rumored limited "Cup Edition" RS for the road? If it is that with 5-lug wheels (less than 20"), would be pretty interesting...
when this rumoured came out?,never heard of it
Hear a couple things occasionally for at least a year... Nothing too recently though.

Is it still a 991 under the camuflage?
The headlights look camuflaged also. Why would they do that, if it were still the 991 body?
Notice the huge radiator duct. It does also not have the naca ducts located where the CUP cars have them.
I'm not sure what it is, other than something extremely fast
White 991.2 GT3, V260 March 2018
According to CJ from Rennlist (former pro baseball player and current Porsche dealership owner, and GT4 race team owner), its the next generation GT3R race car.

blueflame:May be they are thinking about a GT2 „Clubsport“ - the driver hits every curb very hard to test the suspension - they did the same with the GT4 Clubsport last year...
Blueflame
More like crashed into the monza curbs. Very impressive that it held together. Also very good landing and traction after being airborne. Very neutral and controlled. Could be of use in Dukes of Hazard 2.

Not sure about the 4.3 l engine yet (still trying to get the information) but according to my source, production happens from March 2018 to July(!) 2018, afterwards no more cars. They are trying to produce as many cars as possible though, production is not limited by number but time frame.

The farmer:Sound a bit strange with only 525 hp for a 4,3 l engine....
First rumor I heard ( old now...) said 4,2l 550 hp. After that I’ve heard 4,0 l but no hp figure....
I had 4.2 l engine and 520-530 hp, never 550 hp. Then, there were reports of issues with the 4.2 l engine and according to rumors, Porsche "fell back" to the 4.0 l engine and 520 hp.
We are going to know more around December (I think).

Usuall 20 hp increase? The look in the eyes and the smirk in the face of guys in Porsche that I know are involved in test driving the new GT3 RS indicated something special to me. It’s a bad thing they are so professional, so they don’t say a word....
Or mabye its wishful thinking on my side and there smirk’s are about this Swedish fools optimistic thinking....

Something special? A bit of a GT2 RS look, Weissach package, not special enough?
Maybe the price tag is special, rumored around 195k EUR (incl. 19% VAT) in Germany, with Weissach package over 220k.

Yeh....Your right Guess I’m just spoiled waiting for the GT2 RS and driving a lot of the cup lately. Think I’ll get one any how. Been my plan to have both RS as my track toys.
But before that, of to Bahrain next week for some more cup car driving Need to travel the world in order to keep up with Whoopsy, with his own track and all. (glad The 27 is in Canada, Would have hated it if he would have had all year access.... Cheers Nick)
