Porsche is creating demand. As I have stated before, the TT is not getting the sterling reviews the 996TT was getting. So Porsche wants to light a fire under its customer base to rush and order their cars.
True they can do whatever the want to manipulate and stimulate buyers to buy certain products.
If I were shopping for a 2008 Turbo right now I would be anxious that The Wait will be long.
Do you think guys on waiting lists for build slots will all of a sudden be given a whole bunch of build slots because Porsche "just happened" to make them available? Is that how it works?
Or maybe all the uncertainty makes people clamor more and hence desireabilty goes up?
If cr*p like this is being played It really shows how much total disrespect manufacturers have for their buyers.
I remember the POS Ponnyak Solstice being "limited" production at the beginning. I was just laughing hysterically and feeling sorry for how those goofy Solstice enthusiasts were being PLAYED!
Same thing for Turbo do you think?
Freekin stinks how consumer is played. So little regard for people. Yet another teeny decline in human dignity.
