    on the contrary, actually much much less now but there is a good reason for it, that came just 1 year ago around the time I sold my bike

    @Lars, thanks! its an Arican wood that I believe its called Elondo/Tali/Alui wood.

    Nobody knows, thats why its hard to comment on but we can speculate based on the chronological history of the previous 996 and 997, and that means a turn over of 7 yeats more or less with a facelift in between. That would mean no less than 2011 IMO since we also have to take into account that first they have the Panamera in 2009, then they have the next Cayenne, and then after they can get with the 911. But depending on the market they may decide to elongate the Cayenne launch (hybrid is espected in 2012) and push the 911 earlier. Who knows but thats my guess right now

    Well, Porsche has to have something up its' sleeve then. It's almost 2008 now, so 4 more years to 2011. In the tempo porsche is rolling out their 911 variants... now the GT2, possibly facelift in end of 2008, engine upgrade of the GT3 models... well, we'll just have to wait. ;-)

    Very nice forward looking evolution of the 997. Allows it the retain all the "porschness" while getting rid of the upside down bathtub cockpit.

    Actually, it looks like an amalgum of 959, 997, and CGT in some respects.
