just ran a 9.91 sec. at the strip

We finally did it today on friday the 13th....
ran a 9.91 sec. at 145.64 mph. The axles held up but the clutch did not on that run.
Second run it cut a 1.5 60ft but the clutch gave in at the light...
Videos and slips coming later on today but for now I have a generic scan of the slip.

Congratulations Mark.

While there are many cars capable of 9 second times, you probably have one of the very few which can be used as a daily driver. Considering that Porsche's aren't meant for drag racing, your feat is even more impressive.

Your car must generate approximately 1,000hp to the crank or about 200hp more than Sportec's 802hp 911? What engine components are still stock? And what other "important" modifications were made to the car?

I believe Sportec's 802hp (crank) 911 still utilizes a stock engine block, cylinders, heads etc. They mentioned something about the build quality of Porsche's "stock" engine components.

Perhaps, this all demonstrates how much more power can be "safely" generated by the current flat 6 engine configuration? No need for a flat 8 etc. Good news for future models.

Im still 3.6 L vs. Sportec's 3.8 I believe. They probably use non ballbearing turbos in the K-27 family I assume. I have rods, GT3 world cup challenge head with GT3 street cams. Im running GT3 code. I have 8K RPMs. A pair of GT35r turbos, custom IC, intake, 44 MM tial WGs, custom headers, exhaust, and a crazy fuel system. that is the bulk of it. Car runs 1.5 bars with option for more on C16. I have other non perfomance add ons....
Looks Liek Im giving the EUro tuners a run for the money.... 60 to 130 in 4.78 and actually we did 4.6x ... all with 2 shifts.
On the other hand, I probably would not hang with them in an Enduro race since they upgrade so many internal parts for longevity.... but then who is doing the 24 hour Lemans.. LOL
