ALMS: Lime Rock pictures

I was browsing through the ALMS forums and started reading the last page of the Lime Rock topic. One of the members took some great photos of all the cars. The Risi Competizione and Petersen Motorsports 430GTs are running different splitters, as well as all the Porsche teams are running different numbers of front canards of different lengths. Tafel is using three while Rahal Letter is using two long ones (and has this odd metal thing on the front mouth) while Flying Lizard Motorsports is using one.
Again, the photos are pretty good.

So I asked Tafel Racing Vice President/Technical Director of the team concerning the different arrangements of the dive planes and this is his reply.

Hello Richard. The ones we use are as a result of our own work. Porsche do supply a single dive plane as an option. The simple fact is that the car is lacking front down force and any small help that it can get is worth having. I hope this answers your question.

I've been away for 9 days and so was unable to follow LIME rock.
I'm thrilled to see Porsche take overall and GT2 wins.

The two galleries are not of my own. Another member of the ALMS forums I go to posted this link of pictures he took at Lime Rock. John Thawley is a regular at the forums too, which I can ask them the same thing, cool?

I was plan on going to Road America this year but a couple set backs are forcing me to move back to Colorado. Next year is either Miller Motorsports Park or Leguna Seca.
