The Panamera will probably set new industry records for optional equipment prices for 4drs that will make other car companies drool with envy.

It's not like Mercedes offer options at bargin prices. Spec a Benz online and you'll see how quickly the dineros will begin to stack up, or visit your local dealer and check out a demo car. When the C-class had just hit the street I saw a fully loaded C350 priced at 640 000 SEK which is just a few coins away from the asking price of an M3.

In the US german cars come pretty loaded compared to europe standards...

When I was shopping around, I checked the US S5 price. 37.000 euro for a fully-loaded S5 in the US. It will set you back twice as much in Europe .

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

    ^^
You can't really compare US and Europe prices like that because the dollar has lost close to 40% of it's value the latest 5-7 years, which is why some Europeans might think that cars are bargins in the US. But if you live an work in the US I can assure you that cars are just as expensive as they are in Europe.

I know the dollar has a lot to do with it, but even with equal values, US prices still seem to be somewhat lower (unless I'm missing something) and their cars are usually loaded with all the stuff we need to pay extra for.

FYI the median salary in the US is higher than any in europe (same as UK actually), so cars in the US ARE much more affordable. WBH always jokes about the M3 being for Best Buy young employees living with their parents, it is true. Also sales tax is not included in the prices mentioned here, but it is only <10% and refundable on the trade-in portion in most states...

I have not seen this pictures before, so thanks. And I like the looks in this picture. It hink is very Porsche

    Re: Porsche's four-door future...

The car looks acceptable from the front, although I would have preferred the single round headlamps from the 911 DNA. The rear is still challenged, but I'm hopeful with a stout rear wing on the Turbo model and dressed in exterior black color (but of course ) that the car will pass muster for the street.

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

Some new pictures that I think we don't have them

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

    rear view

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

    some more

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

In this one looks like a longer 911

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

    and the last

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

I'd say there's not very much camouflage left at this car. Some at the rear lights, hidden front bumber and some at the front fender, that's about it.

    STILL_DON'T_LIKE_THE_LOOK_OF_THE_NEW_CAR.

CGI of course but this front looks nice and aggressive.

Some videos with the Panamera on the Youtube:

Re: New Porsche Panamera (4 door sedan) Rumours

    it still looks ugly IMHO!!!

d@mn! but i really think that we must wait better pics, and porsche will not do a ugly car!

but one thing i have to say!

im almost sure that porsche is using ,
THE SAME SIDE MIRRORS OF 993!!!!

probably they produced to much for 993 , now they finished the problem!

    New Panamera shots

    .

    Re: New Panamera shots

The angle of pics 2 and 3 make it look more than ever like a stretched out 911. I like most versions of the 911 especially 997 and 80's carrera, but this is horrible.

Lack of initiative, thought, daring, and talent. It is so damn lazy. It looks like a fat blob. The design dept.s of P and F are competing for the booby prize.

    Re: New Panamera shots

I hate to admit this, but I am beginning to like this car!
I will now go away and do some serious psychoanalysis and check on my sanity.

I think at the end we will al start to like this car....

    Re: New Panamera shots

The car I think is going to look good.
You have to take into account the fact that the ENTIRE sides of the car has plastic glued on it. In the first pic - the blue car - you can actually see the line/cut on the sides a la, Carrer GT..you have to imagine that cut being drawn all the way down the doors/sides to the rear quarter panel.

It just semms that the camouflagers (sp?) have finally done a good job in covering up the car. All of the panels have been glued to the car to make it look like a blob on purpose, don't you think?

    Re: New Panamera shots

    When it begins to look like this, it will begin to look good;

    Re: New Panamera shots

I'll take one of those in a 2-dr coupe.

    Re: New Panamera shots

    Re: New Panamera shots

I know this is Ford Mondeo but based on what RC said in page one, this rear would highly resemble the production Panamera.

If you notice it's not hatch but yet kind of is. If it turns out looking like this I personally think would be hot seller.

    Re: New Panamera shots

Why do they camouflage the top of the steering wheel. Are there any shift-lights ord displays integrated?
