Official updates have been emailed to OPC in UK. As another poster has indicated, this extends to one new & one deleted interior colour (palm green out, a new red in) and same for an exterior (carmon red replaced by another red). New interior blind for the Targa & a change to the aircon switch.

No Bluetooth
No DSG gearbox
No light changes front or rear

I'm cancelling my order.

For sure as those updates are for MY08 and not for the MY09 Facelift. I think you have to wait another year!

What is the shade of blue called on the front and rear view of the new 997 pictured earlier. Not Cobalt Blue or something brand new? Thanks!

As previously posted, I'd cancelled my order for 08MY car as I was told by two dealers that UK spec isn't significantly different i.e no visual changes, PDK, Bluetooth etc. I got a call on Friday to ask me to reconsider my order cancellation as it may be in my best interest to remain on the list. I explained I didn't want to wait for Sep 08 for facelift car & would buy something else in the interim. I was told again that I should reconsider with some cryptic clues.

Clearly the dealer couldn't confirm exactly what's happening and also knows I'd never buy another car from them again if they messed me around.

So I'm back on the list expecting the facelift to come early next year (but NOT 09MY - i.e. September).

I guess all will become clear soon....

I did the same too, my OPC told me in Jan that the facelift will be out in MY08 which should be sept this yr, on a few more enquiries he said he doesn't think the facelift will be released this year. I'm on my way to Hatfield to collect my deposit back. Once there is an announcement then I will order one, it doesn't make sense lining the pockets of the OPC with the interest on your deposit since Porsche themseleves don't give discounts in the UK !

I am not sure but it seems brighter than Midnight Blue when the light hits it. Ferrari has the 'Tour de France Blue' that is close to the color. It is almost like an Electric Blue the way the color pops when the light hits it. Seems like a very strong shade and it isn't another gray for a change!!! Is this a new color that has perhaps not been released yet? Thanks

Sorry, I was remembering the wrong pics.

Then I guess it is lapis blue, it is a bit darker than cobalt blue... or it is a individual color.

And another detailed shot (comparison between 997 Mk I and Mk II). Have a look on the PCCB of the MK II, some members guess that the Porsche cars in the futur might get the PCCB as standard brakes. That would be great!
