Hmmm, don’t read French so can’t draw any conclusions from the article. Last rumor I heard ( not recent, since I’ve been focused on the GT2 RS) said 4,2 and 550 hp.....

I start checking my sources and see if I can get some more current info.

I could imagine 4.0 RS with 525hp AND RS 4.2 with 550hp

sales/release this summer, build start september(?), 4,0l 5?? Hp. No roumors of one limited and one unlimited. I’ll check out with my German contacts later as well, but this was what I heard today. Full focus on the GT2 right now, so non of the ones I spoke to today was really updated yes

Why the 4.2L speculation?

The RSR is 4.0L, and the rules permit up to 5.5L for GTE

last info I got still confirms that manual will not be proposed even if it is under test.

Because RS, laptime, fastest, blablabla. PAG asked the VIPs though and they surely can make anything happen!

Today is such a beautiful and warm October day . I had to take the RS for a quick spin on the local mountain .

The car is on the Jura mountains , at the back you can see the Alps with some everlasting snow on some of the tops .

On the first pic, center -right, you see very clearly the Mont Blanc and the french alps . ( click to enlarge )

On the second pic you see the swiss alps and in the back ground , lake Geneva .

2018...991.2 GT3 RS and 992...seems to be 100%.

There will be another special edition model to say good-bye to the 991...the 991 T (or whatever name), a "lightweight" Carrera model for an interesting price (don't expect a real bargain though). Speedster also seems to be still in the rumor mill...basically a 911 R as a Speedster but it could be a Speedster based on the Carrera GTS "only" (depends...).

There is also a rumor of a 991.2 Turbo S with the same power of the Exclusive model but this isn't 100% sure. This model could show up after the 992 is presented, to cope with the time until the 992 Turbo comes.
