    Nice! Guess I am not the first to notice that this GT2 does not have the mirrors nor the headlights from the upcoming 997 facelift...

    my friend brought a SL and the car is so great! the interior is so much high class than P-cars, but again the GT2 isnt talk about the look, so...

    lets hope this car will be faster and handle better than the SL

    Looks that way to me. I seem to recall that the GT2 would be available with a sunfoof, if not standard, as an option.

    How come the GT2 front looks so much better than the Turbo front? Is it just that thos fugly foglights aren't there? Where did they go btw? Or are there just no foglighton the GT2?!?

    I have warmed up tot he looks of the new GT2. The white one which have been creating terror on the ring look brathtakingly good. If I was to order one it would most likely be white. I love everything about it, even the engine sound is pleasing, unlike the Turbo.

    996 GT2 front was way better than the turbo as well . that's a good thing , never liked the turbo front on the 996 or 997

    The new GT2 (the beast) is going to have for sure titanium exhaust for weight saving.. I also heard that is going to have different buckets than the GT3 which they will be able to fall in front if you want... (i dont know if these will be in clubsport too) Also 2 different antispins.. one for traction control and one for psm... on and off

    you don't want the seats able to fall forward . they would be like the ferrari race seats that aren't as good as the current GT3 seats . why mess with someting that works . no need to get to the back of a GT2

    The 911 FL is supposed to debut in 2008. The other two cars you mention will be shown in September (IAA).

    Ohh man... I really hate those vents in the rear... Would be cool to order a brand new gt2 and a turbo rear bumper... see how those porsche salesmen react

    Looks great and is about to do great! If Nordschleife laptimes are really at CGT level, Porsche did everything right.

    Anyone heard if Powerkit for 997 turbo will be introduced aside or little beyond the GT2? In series 993/996 this had been the case.

    Current rumours indicate that the PK will not be available for quite some time. Personally, I don't expect the PK before mid 2008.

    Also, I would be surprised if the 997GT2 achieved a (significantly) better NBR lap time than the 996GT2 Mk2. After GT3, GT3RS and 997TT the GT2 would be the first 997 model with better performance than its predecessor. I do consider this unlikely.
