    Yeah Porsche should do this with their wheels for Sport models. They did it for the 993 C2S in Vesuvius metallic with Anthracite mirror housings and wheels and it's a killer combo!

    Meteor , maybe , but the gunmetal has that pearlescent glaze to it..

    To date , this is the best exterior GT3 combo I have seen by far...Many congrats , bud .....

    Did you change the cup tires to Sport Pilot 2? Is the what you meant by PS2?

    Since I live in a rainy climate I was planning on making that change too. How has it worked out for you?

    Yes Pilot Sport 2. I wanted something that would last more the 7k miles. They are suppose to be more durable than the stock GT3 tires and less likely to hydroplane when it's wet. However, living in SoCal, it rarely rains. Still not cheap. Tires, mounting, and adjusting the TMPS was close to 1800 dollars . The stock tires were more expensive.

    Looks great. I really like it. I was told by someone and not sure it applies to all wheels or just forged or cast but you could not powder coat due to the wheel being weakened by the baking process involved with powder coating. Did you hear anything like this?

    The dealer who did it never mentioned any problems with stock wheels. I did ask him and he has not had any complaints.

    I believe powder coating requires it to be baked at up to around 400F degrees, and I'm not sure but heat treating is done at a much much higher temp. Maybe its not hot enough to weaken it.......by that much or at all. I just don't know.

    Thankyou very much. These are the original stock wheels on the GT3. Powder coated Anthracite (gunmetal) with GT3 logo stenciled in red. I was going to go at first with black, but the guy showed a sample wheel with this color and I was blown away. I definitely like these better than the HRE I bought.
