    My CTT finally got the my dealer!! -PICS-

    Just got back from checking out my new CTT. First off, I never saw Sand White in person before today, so I was kind of nervous about ordering that color but when I first saw her in the dealer lot my mouth dropped, its such a rich and deep white especially under the sun. I finally took her out for a test drive... all I can say is wow. The power is amazing and the PDCC is something I never experienced before in a SUV. Im so excited... I will have better pics after she comes home later this week (with a real camera not phone )

    From the cell phone picture, Sand White looks to have less blue. It looks almost like Light Ivory.

    Congrats on the new Cayenne!

    I like the Sand White myself and actually considered it seriously. I'll probably choose it for my next Cayenne.

    got the best deal with Rieztl Porsche in Norwell. My salesman Jeff Akasten was great to deal with... was probably the best experience I have ever had with a dealership.

    I haven't got my CTT yet so I don't know if it's a DIY job.

    I read at 6speed that you will paint the lower part of bumper white. I'm sure your body shop can change it for you.

    We need to see more pictures. And more comment on PDCC please.

    BD997. I ordered mine with PDCC and sand white. Did you get the sportdesign option. Didn't know the car could look so good. I opted for the stock wheels since I am changing my wheels out. Maybe considering titanium or silver rinspeed. I guess I don't have to necessarily go with all black. You should ask you dealership about the suspension module. It allows you to lower and raise your car substantially. My friend has it on his 2006 CTT and it's a completely different look when it's lowered. Especially with your 21inch wheels. Congrats. If you could post some better or make it larger pictures. Thanks.

    BD997. A closer look at your wheels looks like ur white cayenne turbo is lowered. Does that come stock? If the suspension can be lowered stock, then I wouldn't need a module to lower my car.

    the sport design option is not available yet in USA but I am painting the front and rear lower bumpers and getting the tech equipment rocker panels so it will be "sport design" and as for lowering, I am getting the lowering links which I think will be enough for me as I dont want to go too low.

    The 08 Sport Design kit rocker panel (side skirt to us Europeans) is the same part as that used on the 06 models. I'm thinking about taking the skirts off my 05 and having them painted and refitted to my 08 when it arrives as they won't add to the trade in value of my 05 and the factory isn't as yet offering the skirts as a solo option on the 08 cars like they did on the old model.

    I'm pretty sure and my dealer thought so too. There does not appear to be any change to the sheet metal on the sill (rocker?) and any change would have involved an expensive retool as this is a sheet metal structural area. It looks as though you simply have to remove the little winglets ahead of the rear wheels to fit the skirt. If you enlarge the pic on the attached link the part is identical to those fitted to my 05 car. The new aerokit is a bit of a rip off as it only includes these skirts, a bi-plane roof spoiler and the lower sections of both the standard front and rear bumpers to be painted. You could easily get the roof spoiler from Porsche parts and have it painted and fitted. I did this with the aerokit roof spoiler on my 05.

Instead of watching other car in a garage and very occasionally taking it for a short weekend drive, you drive Cay EVERY DAY...I would do the same swap, better have at least one "class leader" car instead of two exotic "medium class"...
