I had a go in a LHD & RHD 430 back to back the other day. Even though I am from the UK the LHD felt much more comfortable. A lot more leg room! Same applied to the LHD AMV8 I was in today. Heaps more room in the lefty. England should just get over it and join the rest of Europe and start driving on the "right" side of the road!

Many congrats Paul, she's gorgeous!!
I think the F430 is the only car on the market that I would TRADE my C2S Cab in for. Everything else I think I would save up a few years for and buy on-top.
As much as I love my Carrera, I have completely lost interest in range Porsche has to offer right now. The Turbo didn't excite me when I drove it and the GT3 is a bit too track-orientated for me, especially with the roll-cage, rear spoiler, semi-slicks and just the way it looks.
Ahhhh, you've got me thinking now!
I assume (by the quick time you picked up your F430) it was a used model yes? As such how did you find the buying experience? Manage to get any discounts? How did the dealership treat you? What's your insurance like now? What do you expect the cost of ownership to be compared to Porsche?
Questions questions...
Anyway, I am very much looking forward to your promised report
PS: I wonder if in 18 months (as suggested by Nick) when the F430 is replaced whether prices will come way down, or whether due to the F430 being so special it will actually increase used demand given new production will stop.
