    New baby - forgive my excitement but......

    Thanks to Moto for your help on the photos.

    My dealer called me that the ship arrived the night before. The cars are all unloaded into a vast yard, with all mixed in together from corollas to Mercedes. Strangely the Porsches are put in their own little corner, all behind the security fence. I took my telephoto lens plus my family to seee the new arrival, so here she is!!






    I cannot work out all the codes here but at least I can recognize XLF

    She looks great! You must be going INSANE knowing that she's so close, and yet so far away. Enjoy it in good health, and post more pics!

    Insane does not even come close!! I went back today to see it again, but all the Porsches had gone. They are taken across town to a bond storage for customs clearance, then to another place that coordinates predelivery (don't know what that entails), then finally to the dealer's for formal inspection, preparation and cleaning. Licensing takes a couple more days then time to smash the Dom Perignon across the hood (well perhaps not the last bit). It will take ten to 12 days from now.
    In the meantime, I am off to Stuttgart tomorrow for my factory tour and Porsche travel club weekend at Hockenheim and the Rhein Valley. Not a bad way to fill in time while I am waiting!

    I noticed that the cobalt varies a great deal depending on the lighting conditions.

    I think another 10-14 days to handover

    Thanks for sharing. That is very cool. I think your camera might be as good as your car if you can take scans like that.

    cool cool cool... I know exactly how this will feel.... GRRRRR poor boy! But - spend the waiting time with your family, cause after you are probably more often on the road

    The camera is a Canon EOS 30 D with a 90-300 zoom lens. It is a great toy to play with
