I just realized the 997 is a real beauty....again

I was just turning the lights off in thegarage and looked at my 997S and realized it is really beautiful in arctic Ag under the lights, the lines are flowing, the headlights blend nicely, the fenders are sleek and what an overall clean rendition of the classic 911 lines. It's elegant yet aggressive and from the back has a nice rearend... Ok time to go to bed before the wife finds out all the naughty things i an writing on rennteam

Yes, but without the Champagne Intoxication, Miss 997 has a few problems; she needs some cosmetic surgery.

For starters:

Remove cop-like, "Soviet-looking" PCM.

Remove rear hump:

Thanks for your continued concern.

I don't need a microscope to see Porsche as an Ignorant Slut.

I'm currently pissed big-time at Porsche. Sadly, I now think they are full of sh*t with all their promises of "Excellence." I bought two new Porsches recently (986S and 997S) both have had major problems (RMS leak and probable cylinder compression problem).

I know what it's like, i had an e46 M3 2 years ago and she was definitely more of a screamer at high rpm, kind of like the lower-class slut/mistress (j/k)...
Did not post pictures because she was a little dirty and had not taken a shower for a couple of days, you know, kind of like smelled of a little burnt oil after a hard run like 911's seem to do for unclear reasons...., wait did someone say RMS? where where???

Still, she's a one fiiiiinnnnnnne laydyyyy

Indeed! I had my E46 about 2 years ago as well. Although I think my 997 is

AMAZING

, I can't help but think of the E46 from time to time

. It was definitely a screamer.

It's taken me several months not to keep going back, opening the door into the garage from the house, and looking at the car. With several counseling sessions, I should get better.
