Re: New BMW M3 official pics...
In the UK a an E92 M3 with the right options will be Pounds55k, a 997 C2S will cost Pounds67k + cPounds7k for options, resulting in a price of Pounds74k. Nearly Pounds20k difference still sounds like a bargain to me.

I don't like the M3's price.
The greatness of that car was that it was quite cheap compared to let's say, a 911 carrera.
At 66.000 euro, it's too pricey. With options, ou''l have to sign a check of 75-80K. That's the price of a carrera 2.
I'm also worried about that V8. Sounds great but the weight ... In addition, the design looks a bit over done, especially teh front and it's stupid bumper. Not to mention the bump on the bonnet. The all point of the M3 is to be invisible. People should think it's a 320d, not a rocket from space.
The 335i sounds like a better deal to me.

I was playing with the BMW.de car configurator and specced out a possible company car. An E92 335iA came out at almost 70.000 Euros . Not such a great bargain, when a car with the most essential options costs 55.000 Euros and doesn't stop until over 70...

Well, I might very well choose the old E30 M3 with the 4-cylinder motor (with a few mods) over the new V8 version. What kind of fool does that make me?

It has been on BMWs for years now. It's just a sensor that relays the how heavily the driver brakes to the way the brake lights come on. So a gentle braking illuminates them in a normal fashion, whereas a heavy braking episode brightens them even further.
