I had alcantara in my Lancia Delta Integrale, more years ago than I care to remember and it was great, wore well, grippy and very comfortable. No need for heated seats, either!
Fond memories of that car, including rushing my (then) wife to hospital in it when she went into labour with my daughter. I don't think she appreciated breakneck speeds through the many roundabouts....
My daughter is 18 this year and car mad. Unfortunately her dream car is a Cayenne
