I like my convertibles, the weather isn't perfect here all the time but when it is you really want to have a convertible.
I had the F1 system on my 360 and although it was fun, the fun eventually wore off for me, not to mention that it was jerky and there would be times when the car wouldn't go into reverse. I vowed not to get another car with F1 after that experience.
The Gallardo's e-gear in my opinion is even worse, my first test drive of the Gallardo Spyder was an e-gear car and I hated the transmission. I hear it is much improved on the LP640, but on the Gallardo I couldn't stand it. The shifts took far too long, they were also jerky and seemingly executed haphazardly. Plus, they aren't as fun for me
The parts for my G came in yesterday, I should know in the next day or two what the verdict is.

Click this link for a 1600 x 1200 version of the image. I've got the original in full 6MP resolution but I don't know of any image hosting services that will host an image that big. I use a Konica Minolta MAXXIUM 5D, it makes me look like a better photographer than I am

The proportions between the standard cast iron brakes and the rims are no different than in case of the 997 Carrera S for example: 330mm discs all around and 19" rims. The main difference is that the standard five spoke wheel of the F430 is very airy designed, whereas the lobster fork of the 997S for example isn't. Hence the difference in looks.
That's why many, who don't want to spend the money for the CCM prefer the more compact design of the optional Challenge rims in connexion with the standard brakes.
