    Finally my 07 Turbo arrived.....

    after a long long wait its here.
    initially was supposed to take delivery in Nov. 06. then dealer called and said they made a mistake and there will be a slight delay.....well, that slight delay ended up in me waiting another 5 month, however today it finally landed..

    to top it off, its now in transit at my best friends garage as i am not in my hometown to actually have received it.
    therefore my friend had the 'pleasure' of unloading it.

    at least, he was nice enough to send me some pics. monday i will go to pick her up.

    hey sdy,

    i was not at all sure about going for the yelow gauges. however, i decide to take the risk.
    as mentioned i will only get to see the car in person next monday.
    two of my friends who took delivery for me and saw it, said it looks great in real life.....

    thanks darius. hadn't i decided for slate, white would have been thecolour to go for. guess i will leave the white for the gt2

    hey c4s,

    i have not for one second thought of getting a manual. if i wanted a manual, i would have gone for the gt3.

    just cant be bothered with shifting. furthermore, i do not track my cars.

    hope the gt2 will come with pdk.....

    appreciate you like the way she looks.

    Congrats! Very nice turbo you have... You must be anxious to sit in it to drive it around Monday doesn't seem to far after what you have waited. Hang on buddy almost there. We need more pics and impressions asap.

    now that its so close, yet so far away, waiting is harder than the whole year since i ordered.
    anyway, will oick her up on monday andtake her for a 500 km drive to a resort area on the red sea. will take it easy on that drive. but once i have completed those 500 kms i will make sure to find out what the car is capable of. hope i wont be disappointed by its power and accelleration.....

    am quite confident though, that i will be amazed. what really worries me is the sound of the exhaust.

    my friend who unloaded her has an f430 and said my turbo has no sound at all !!
