    Carbon interior package GT3

    I'm second guessing my order of interior carbon & the door sill in carbon. Any opinions. You loose the alcantara on the shift knob. Anyone have it and wish they didnt?
    The car is White W/Black full leather interior

    I have the interior carbon pkg (EZA) and like it. There is still some alcantara on the front portion of the knob so the tips of your fingers feel the alcantara but the palm of your hand touches the carbon. I didn't get the carbon door sill because I thought when you get in and out you would have to make a conscience effort every time to lift your foot so you don't scratch the sill.

    I don't like carbon package alone.
    IMO this package is just a half ass thing.
    The carbon package switch panel is the way to go!

    My car will pretty much be a clone to yours. Anything beyond the carbon switch pannel and the carbon sills IMHO is overkill. You can protect the sills with clear film or you can simply replace them if they are scratched.

    Just taken delivery of my gt3 and i ordered the small carbon pack aswell as carbon door sills.
    The carbon looks AWESOME
    Please order it especially the door sills .

    trackin with leather means yo ass will be slippin n a slidin all over da place...

    If you must have leather make sure you have ordered the optional "extended buttock 9mm spacers" so that your posterior will be nice and firmly wedged between the side bolsters.

    Ordering the full leather option does not change the seats. They come in leather/alcantara in any case.

    How do you like the yellow stiching. I almost did it but chickened out last minute.I did get the yellow seat belts. I'm dealing with a small dealer long distance and was nervous about them messing the order up.

    It's not my car, I lifted the picture from the website of a US dealer.

    I think you were right not to order deviated stitching. The traditional process to order it took a lot of different option codes, and you weren't even sure to get deviated stitching everywhere (notice how they missed the steering wheel, the gear lever, shifter boot, and handbrake ).

    However, I've read there are new option codes to order deviated stitching everywhere with a single option now. Finally!

    The extra Alcantara comes as part of the full leather package, along with the centre tunnel cubby box etc!

    pcm should definitely be carbon as well. would really upgrade the interior....02 cent

    you are right. i checked the german configurator which lists most exclusive options and pcm is only available painted or in leather....still these two options look much better than the standard grey plastic.

    check out my car. its pcm leather in interior colour.

    I ordered Natural Grey interior, plus console, hatch cover with GT3 logo, shift level trim, etc. for a May 10 build and was warned that dark grey might not look right with the alcantara; however, the photos show the alcantara as grey next to the black leather and black carpet. What do you think?

    Looks good on the photo to me. Not seen it in real life though.

    The online options let you pick between full leather or alcantara. Yet the alcantara on the door comes if you pick the full leather option. This seems a bit counter intuitive.
