My GT3 Spec

I havent got a build slot yet but I dont want to be caught out unprepared so:

Black Standard Colour
Wheels in exterior colour
Bi xenons
Dimming mirrors/rain sensor
Club Sport (bucket seats and roll cage)
Carbon fibre everywhere available
PCCBs
Yellow seat belts (matching PCCBs and instr dials)

My main concern is picking standard black over basalt. I intend to spend the cost of a special colour having the car professionally polished on a regular basis.

good choices, I would go for the Tyre Presure Monitoring system (TPM) and kick out the dimming mirrors/rain sensor..

how long is the waiting time over there?

Good advice - the wait is 12 months so I am expecting delivery in December.

Basalt black costs very little compared to the GT3 itself and the PCCB brakes. Why not just get the optional color if that's really what you want. The savings to get straight black instead would be little.

I wasn't trying to save money on colour. I was using the saving to justify spending money on professional waxing and polishing.

at the end I went with Basalt as it is easier to maintain but true black is magic when clean - either way it is a great color and car. Enjoy the wait...

In my opinion I would not omit the auto dimming mirrors. At night its a pain constsntly flipping the dam switch on the rear view mirror. I don't like the total black out look to flipping the switch and the standard position is blinding. I wish I had that option and regret it. It should be retrofitable very soon and is only currently available for the 996 from Tequipment.
