    As Healey said Garnet Red, Pearl Effect(code 9C9C)-and it is available for all Audi models through individual color order(Audi Exclusive paint code 9996).

    Well. I actually got a call today from the AUDI dealer to spec out the R8 I ordered.

    I just came back and here is my order:

    Jet Blue (no exclusive options are available for the U.S.
    )

    Alum. siding
    enhanced leather interior (stone gray) PL3 option
    no LED head light options for the U.S. only Xenon at least for the first round of orders.

    B&O sound system

    That's pretty much all the options they had listed for the U.S.

    And of course the price is still unknown for the U.S.

    Ron,
    Be very carefull about that Limestone Grey leather for R8. It is extremly prone to dirt!
    Black with Limestone Grey stitching is safer option IMHO...

    Also, if you wear jeans a lot then your Limestone Grey seats may look Limestone Light Blue after few months...

    That is great Ron. I have yet to see one in person but almost everyone has said it looks better in the flesh than in the pictures.

    Are they giving approximate delivery dates?

    The other options were black and brown which I didn't care for either one.

    The graphics of the LED headlights look far better than those of the standard lights IMO.

    Absolutely. But wasn't in the short list of order guide for the U.S. .
    My sales guy forwarded an email to their Rep. to see what they say.

    Following options will be available from October 2007 for R8 in Europe:

    -Ceramic Brakes(around 7500Euro in Germany)
    -Bucket Seats(definitely NO for US, no sidebags)
    -Sport Suspension(third suspension option for track oriented driver, NO Magnetic Ride-just stiffer coils and springs)
    -Rear Parking camera
    -Titanium 19" wheels
    -Exclusive Paint option
    -Exclusive leather packages

    LEDs? January 2008 in EU...

    Most of this option will be available in US from January 2008 as well.

    BTW 7500 Euro for Ceramic brakes isn't really what I would call cheap, but it's cheaper than all the competitors.

    I agree.

    BTW, R8 has the biggest normal brakes-fronts 380mm(8caliper), rears 356mm(4caliper) of all current mid(and rear)-engined sportscars.

    Optional Ceramics are same size discs, just fronts are with 6calipers.

    Ceramics are from SGL...

    I hope that the prices for the CCM brakes will come down a little bit eventually. Surely they are the braking technology of the future, but prices well in the 5-digit area are inappropriate IMO.
