In Europe, this size vehicle sells well, even among the male "punkkid" demographic because of fuel costs, upkeep etc. So small cars like a VW Golf are not considered "uncool".
But in the US, only Mr. Bean impersonators drive cars this small.

We will/are making oil from coal, soybeans, and cellulosic stock. No worries long term there.
It is a cool little car BUT pbus is 100% correct. Very few US men would actually buy one. Same guys who wear birkenstocks and pink polo's with their collars up. (and that is not a preference reference)
