    Camber setup 997S

    Hi

Anybody know If the Camber of a normal PASM 997S can be adjusted?
(btw, what's is set at anyway?)

Point I that I like a sharp front End.. (to the expense of added tyre wear)
so the more camber can be given (to a certain extent), the better...

btw, the -20mm, is it Set up (camber, castor, toe in ect) identical to the PASM setup?

    thank you,
    l

I'm not sure about the camber being adjustable, but with PASM, at least in the models sold in North America, you get -10 mm height, not the -20 mm you get with the limited slip differential available in other markets.

    yes...front & rear

    Re: Camber setup 997S

yes you can. i have negative 1deg front and negative 2deg rear. porsche said thats the most they can get out of the pasm set up. any more then would need to change the struts and therefore void the warranty. its a nice drive my current set up, nose turns in really well and better track times at sepang as a result of slightly more grip around corners. not noticeable extra wear on the inner edges of the tyres as i change them every 10,000 km due to track days. henry

    Re: Camber setup 997S

    Perfect!

so there is some room to Play...
And If needed swapping the frotn struts gives some additional camber...

    Re: Camber setup 997S

i have fit eibach spring in my C2s with Pasm...take a look my set-up

stock camber is -.5/-1.8 fr/rr. you can get about -1 deg. with stock pasm more if you lower the car with springs. rear can go to -2.5-2.7deg. but this would increase understeer given the limited front camber. so stock rear camber should be fine. to make the turn-in more sharp set the front toe to +0.02 deg. not too twitchy fro the street.
