    Little bit more patience... Will try to make the pics in next two days and post them here. Formal short review also.

    BTW, had a first small issue with the car. More in my formal review...

    @KresoF1

    What about your pics and review?!Smiley

    Well... This month is extremely busy-Business wise for me. I will do my best and try to post that review and pictures late next week. Not before Wednesday next week...

    BTW, thank you for been such a M5 fan and keen to get that pictures. Some of us work 10h per working day and simply can not find that precious extra time to write the review and post it here. But, I will do it.

    As a hint for you-M5 is very competent and fast. But, it is no sports car. In the end it is for me subjectively just little bit more involving then RS3 sedan.

    Boah, I've got the latter, so no need for me to spend more money on a M5. Smiley

    @Kreso

    To wait for your review is like waiting for Xmas to come with all its presents, sparkle and great family momentsSmiley

    Working 10h per working day sounds to me like holidays, that's not a busy schedule IMHO Smiley

    That the M5's only little bit more involving than RS3 is totally surprising me, the feedbacks from car press were way more "enthusiastic" (maybe they're biased by the car industry/ BMW) therefore I'm so keen on your "real owner" impressionsSmiley

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    So, working from 08:00h-18:00h Mon-Fri sounds like holidays to you? OK... Since most of the days my working day ends after 19:00h...

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    I wish I was working only 10 hours a day... Feels like it is more like 12 hours a day on average including weekends...

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    Hmm isnt it like always with KresoF1 that he is telling what cars he gets and then no review no picture nothing ... i suspect there are some Fake News arround angry

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    I work 26hrs a day 9 days a week.  There, hopefully that will stop the thread from turning into a who works the most thread.  I'm guessing everyone on here is pretty successful and works or worked their butts off to be that way...Smiley

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    @KresoF1

    10 hours per (working) day doesn't impress me at all but I'm more interested in discussing cars than workloadswink

    So I'll be patiently waiting for your review, pics & thoughts on the car as IMHO the new M5 Comp. is a great car (same like E63s) and I'd really like to know your direct impressions/ comparisons as you've been trying both cars out (as far as I remember in one of your postings in this thread)...

    I limit my working hours to about 7h a day including time spent comuting to and from work!

    Life is too short and you wont get it back when you regret it later on, and spending extra time working for more money beyond a reasonable level is shallow empty living imo IF it means having to waste you life working for it. If you dont have to work for a living then that is a different story indecision but that is not my case.

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    Nice for you, 7 hours including commute simply does not exist here.

    My extra work time is going to my charity, so that’s actually the opposite of “shallow empty living”. The trade off these long hours is an early retirement. I almost fully retired 7 years ago, but then decided it was too early and not a good example for my kids. Now I need to set this big charity to fly on its own and then I will consider another early retirement. Personally working shorter hours but for many more years is not as good as an early full retirement because you are still tied to going to the office every day. Once retired and kids are on their own, I plan to live in several places during the year.

    Re: 2018 BMW M5(G30) Thread Closed

    Don't get me wrong, I plan to retire when my body says I can't work any more and not sooner, I don't hate my job, I just don't want to waste my life working for diminishing returns on inmaterial things that make you lose track of what is really important, at the expense of time with my family, hobbies, etc. which IMO lead to an empty existence, for me. Life is to short and you never know what will happen tomorrow either.

    My job is part of who I am and it is rewarding for me, makes me feel good doing it, so I don't plan to stop for as long l as I can. Looking for an early retirement and balancing work and life are two different things. Each needs to find what makes them happy, it is not the same for everyone, depends where you live, your family, your work, your health, your preferences, and so on.

    No work, no money. If you're happy with the amount you're earning, no problem but I have no choice unfortunately. Smiley Good life requires a lot of work, not only for me and myself but also my wife (she is a good doctor but all that administrative, financial, IT, etc. stuff falls into my lap, which means another two hours or so per day for me). Thank god I can relax here on Rennteam from time to time (you have to love the internet Smiley) and at home.

    Weekends are also quite important, I usually don't take work home if I can avoid it. Unfortunately, when my wife has emergency services, I have to drive her to the clinic and back. At least they organized now an official driver with a semi-official car (it has all the stickers but no sirens or flash lights) for doctors who do off-clinic emergency services, so at least my wife doesn't have to drive herself anymore (in which case I had to drive her) when she needs to do her off-clinic emergency hours.

    When I recovered from pneumonia I will post it. Better not to ask how stupid I was to get pneumonia after all. Did not work or drive the car for few days.

    After I post this apparently very important review I hope that interest towards M5 will rise or fall depending on some opinions...
