    Meteor Grey / Seal Grey / Slate Grey

    Guys, forgive me for this but I cannot find any decent snaps of any Porsches in Meteor Grey. My wife came running in the other day saying she spotted an awesome Porsche in a very darkish grey! That narrows it down i thought!

    Anyways, would really appreciate a few snaps if someone has! I did try and search but couldn't find anything!!! SORRY! Computer incompetent fool that I am!

    Very darkish = most likely Atlas?

    Ah yes, Atlas is another one, my mate has a 997 in atlas and its not that - she doesn't like Atlas. The Mrs is good at picking out the cars, she knows all the Astons, early 911, 993's, 996's and 997's - Boxsters and Cayennes as well of course she can even recognize an aircooled motor when she hears it - just got to get her the Porsche colour brochure now!

    Thanks Easy - just showed it to her - she reckons it could be the one! Has anyone seen or own Slate?

    By the way, my mrs loves the cocoa interior. She wanted a white 987 S with cocoa interior with white stiching and a cocoa top. As much as I love, I couldn't sit in a white car even if she is driving!

    During my factory tour/ "baby" delivery, Meteor was the color that made several people in our group say, "WOW, what color is that." It looks AWESOME... pictures don't do it justice.

    Yes guys, I am always smiling when driving my 928. It is just the coolest car to own.

    The rennteam server often cuts the size of my photos which destroys the quality. This pic shows the meteor color as it appears in sunshine, almost silver, other pics of my car show it much darker. The metallic is very active.

    I saw a couple of Meteor cars this week (C4S and Cayman) for the first time. You can tell it's not Seal (even when seen in isolation).
    Best way I can describe it is that Meteor looks smoother and cleaner than Seal.

    nice pics of the meteor grey!
    i've got slate grey myself, and i love it.
    if i had to do it again, i'd go w/ black. best-looking 997 no doubt.
    but my second choice is slate grey still. looks awesome when the car is washed. very dark, almost black looking at times.

    but w/ any of these greys you can't go wrong.
    my order of preference...

    1. slate
    2. meteor
    3. seal - i'd rather get a silver than the seal grey
