    You like Ruf wheels? Got any pics? Here's one.

    I really like them; thinking of buying. No frills and verrry good looking. I think they look more "Porsche" than Porsche. Kinda like original Porsche ethos where form follows function but thay always managed to make the subservient _non-stylized_ form look damn good!

    Do you think a non-Ruf car with Ruf wheels is "poser?"

    Do you think the Ruf wheels shown have been around too long and look dated or are they true classics?

    I tried to get these wheels but the folks at the RUF auto centre never got back to me. These wheels from what I've found out are pretty heavy. That's another factor that stopped me from getting them. I love the way they look though.

    They are heavy and expensive. Everyone loves the look though. In 19'' they are particularly heavy.

    I would recommend BBS / BBS motorsport for best performance AND reasonable price (3-5 k for a set of excellent rims that aren't just bling like HRE)

    They do look good... simple, clean and different then stock.
    Deninitly not a poseur style of rims !
    If you like them, and do^'t mind the weight ( which I was not aware of ) go for them

    MMD - I have had these wheels (19") for a little over a year now on my 2005 C2S. May be heavier than the Sport Designs that came with the car - but I'm not a good enough driver to tell that much of a difference. The finish is gorgeous - and durable - and they are a breeze to keep clean. Enjoy!

    I am still looking for my vision of the perfect wheel - I like the Ruf but think it looks a little "heavy" where the spoke and rim come together. I called Ruf in Dallas and they gave me pricing and specs immediately - surprised they didn't get back to you. Wayne or Hans are usually available phone or email.

    I did hear from Dave initially about the wheels but he had to find out if the RUF wheels had the proper offset for my car. Dave was going to research that and get back to me. Nothing, but when I ordered other non-wheel items, they were good about getting back to me.

    One thing I've always thought interesting and never asked about before is that on the RT12, Ruf runs 20 inch on the rear and 19 inch on the front. Anyone else run this mixed configuration?
