    My CT's suspension and brake issue - Please help!

    My CT ( 2005, Sportdesign ) had a pretty hefty accident where the front ( including front struts ) got damaged pretty bad. ( 30 TUSD damage ) After 5 month the car got finally repaired and ready to be picked up. But guess what hapenned?
    My car drives like a lemon. Brake pedal feel is soft and the brake doesn't bite at all. Even worse, the suspension is very wobbly when braking the front of car dives so much that you you fear falling through the wind screen.
    My dealer ( Clair Boston ) - even so I like them for the friendly service - tells me that the diagnosis program does not show any irregularities.
    But this is our second CT and I know how my car drove before. This is not the car I had before.
    So what can be the reason for it. The car's drive train including brake and suspension was dissassembled for a long time.

    Any idea how to approach this? What if the dealer has no answer to it or claims this is normal. What is my legal position? Thanks in advance for your help. I am pretty sad about this whole situation.

    Any chance you would consider trading it in for another second hand one? But from a different dealer...

    Do you think this issue is not repairable? My car is a lease, so a trade would hurt, I assume. I rather would trade against a new 08 CT, if the dealer would offeri this

    if its a lease then its a whole different story... well suspension damage can be very tricky... sometimes the car is never the same. Try a different tech... get a second opinion and take it from there. Worse case if you ever want to get out of a lease you should try swapalease.com or leasetrader.com... They just got me out of my wife's 2005 645 BMW lease... just another option.

    Thank you for you recommondation. The suspension was not damaged at all! At least the report said and I did not see any visual damage.

    Did you indicate $30,000 to repair? And have you accepted the repair as complete. Was the accident your fault or someone elses?

    Yes, 30.000$ repair damage, 50% my fault. The insurance paid alraidy, but I did not accept the car. Today the dealer ventilated the brake and reset PASM. They testdrove the car and compared it with a new CT. They claimed the car is ok now. I will pick it up tomorrow. I hope the car is fine now. Thanks for your help.

    Simple suggestion: why don't you get a Cayenne Turbo loaner, even from another dealer (pretending you're interested in buying one) and compare the suspension/brake feel to your own car?

    In the meantime the dealer fixed the problem. Brakes had been ventilated and air suspension reset as they said. Now the car drives ok. Big relieve.
