Newbie saying Hello
Hi folks
New to the board so a few words about me.
UK ex-pat living in Switzerland for last nine years and currently VERY VERY excited at the prospect of picking up our 2004 Cayenne Turbo next Thursday.
Heart hasn't slowed since shaking on the deal yesterday afternoon and wife and I are losing sleep at the prospect of owning such a beautiful, beautiful car.
We will be first time Porsche owners and are riding on a wave of euphoria currently 
Will compliment our 1998 BMW M Roadster which we have lovingly cared for since new..
I have been fairly active on the BMW boards over the years and have met some great friends through annual meets in Switzerland. Are there any Cayenne or Porsche events organized on these boards?? Would be great to meet similarly enthused owners and admire their machinery or 'KNs' I think they're called aren't they
Anyway nice to see a healthy mix of international contributors to the site and it would be great if there's any tips you can advise me on ownership and perhaps for this coming Thursday when we pick up the car (last minute questions to ask/ checks to make e.t.c)

) and I want to use a good wax to protect against the fickle Swiss weather (extremes of minus 30 celsius winters and + 38 Summers with lots of Alpine precipitation). Any recommendations?
