    You're not the only one. And the first picture Ron posted made me think of a photoshopped Vantage (rear part) at first.

    The car generally looks great, but I'm not that fond of the shape of the rear lights.

    It's hard to beat the Italians in design - the car looks great I agree with your 6-series remark, but as for the 911 you're mistaking the Hall of Fame for an ordinary museum

    Given the way they shoot their press release pictures now it's nearly impossible to make any good judgment on a car from those alone.. That said the the car looks VERY promising to me, fit the Ferrari V12 in there and we're ready to roll

    1880kg though .. they better have spent some serious time hiding that weight

    Very interesting car. Regarding weight and dimensions, it should be clear to anyone that they had to differentiate Maserati from Ferrari themselve. Therefore it was only a logical step to place this car more consequently in the luxo-cruiser department. Judging from the pictures they did this quite well, haven't seen such a unique but appealing car in a long time!

    The front end has a hint of MC12 in it IMO, and I really like the Quattroporte themes on it. Love it!

    I dont really like the front but I think its a picture of an artist but not real photo of the real car. You can see the glimpse if you go to maserati site the front looks more smooth.

    Can somebody "paint " the car into black and post it here?

    right on this site you can see a real photo of front looks little bit diiferent

    I talked to my ferrari maseratti dealer today and have been told that they expect prices below Maseratti Quatroporte

    I think I will buy one and get rid of my BMW 750

    Concerning the car: I'm not totally convinced so far, sure it has some interesting lines, grill looks good, rear lights so and so, yes there are some similarities to the RX8 and with 4880 cm and 1880 ks this really is a very, very big car.

    The standard V8 with "only" 405 hp will be no real sports car for sure, more of a luxury GT, especially with the only available automatic gear box.

    IMO the car will be better looking in dark colours, let's wait until we can see it in flesh.
    Absolutely love the new styling of the wheels BTW.

    I agree its GT more like, duo select or F1 or cambiocorsa what ever you prefer to call it will be offered as an option from the beginning

    Are you sure about that?

    I heard from my dealer that in the first year only 405hp version with automatic gearbox will be available, 450hp with Cambiocorsa will come one year later.

    if thats true I will be hugely dissapointed and will not buying it

    But I have heard that duo select will be offered among with the automatic transmisson, I think the confusion is because in Geneva they will be showing the auto transmission...

    I heard though that duo select will be available

    No, as I said, performance are slightly worse than current Gransport, same hp but more weight.
    And first version is 405 hp with auto box only, a year later will come the 450 hp version with new cambiocorsa.

    But that 450hp version should be a killer

    This car is fugly. They should've been more faithful to the sketches. The front is ridiculous with a long snout and a gaping hole for a grill.

    This is not going to sell too well. There will be no 2 year waitlist...to be sure.
