NOT happy , porsche told me , under no circumstaances will we do a white GT3 RS even if its more money or special order, am getting a bit fed up ,its either the dealer not wanting to put the effort in or porsche are not consistant, already fell out with my dealer over this car.

Guys, white looks s*it. Sorry to say.
Let's all just fess up that Porsche was right, the special colours are the way to go.
White looks especially horrible b/c it was the colour chosen for the regular GT3 press car. White's been done. And now you've got a car that looks like a plain jane GT3.
Anyone who purchased white has completely done himself a disfavor. It cost him more AND on resale firstly he's not going to get the $4k back and secondly, I think the value of a white one will be far less to any of the coloured ones of like year and mileage.

A white 997 GT3RS will be more exclusive than a black or orange GT3RS.
Plus it'll fit well in the garage with the white/blue 2.7 RS, the white/black 3.2 Carrera ClubSport, and the white/blue 996 GT3 RS.
I don't remember if the 964 and 993 RS were available with the "Carrera RS" trim from the factory, but I know you could still find some to complete your garage.

Funny, so many mixed emotions about that colour. I personally'd prefer black. The silver one, with black or dismissed decals, would be my first choice.
White doesn't reflect the sumptuous curves of this car, so please no white one for me.
The white colour was said to be delivered as a special option, although Porsche themselves had been a bit reluctant about it in the beginning. They wanted to keep it limited to the four given colour combinations.

PCNA had to fight to get white GT3RS's and have been told under no circumstances would there be the RS decal. Maybe there has been a change of heart at PAG?

The trick to get black decals is to to find someone with an orange or green RS and ask him to order them for your sake.
Orange and green RSs have black decals, so it'll show up as replacement parts in the ordering system (that's also how you order an Exclusive option after the fact: find someone who already has it, and let him order a "replacement part").
That's probably how the owner of this white/black RS got his.

OK,well, I am convinced!But an RS does have Carbon fiber side mirrors,doesn't it? Still strikes me as strange.
