Porker:noone1:Yea dude, you went 200+ in heavy rain and cold temps? That's nuts. Why would you ever care how well it does something like that? You were one puddle and aquaplane away from a nasty accident...
Do you ever drive on the autobahn? Everyone in a decent car drives >200km/h traffic permitting...
Not when it is raining, only idiots do that...
Ask my Porsche dealer about how many cars from high speed rain accidents they repaired...they feel safe...until it happens...very sudden.

Tires, road surface, condition, as well as weather all have an influence, much less vehicle. When I lived in Germany, I sometimes drove 160 - 180 km/h (my car at the time did not have much more in it) in heavy rain but I also once drove 80 km/h on the A3 near Montabaur as that was the fastest I dared to go. I think we need to stop preaching; I think most of us as adults know what is safe and what is pushing the envelope.

noone1:Spudgun, you're literally telling people what they should do from your PC on the other side of the planet by telling people what they should not do.
I don't think you and me are on the same planet, so your argument is invalid.

Since the Earth is flat, he is actually on the flip side of the planet.
pmarkow:today i have almost decided to let go of my GT3RS for the huracan performante. i just need to convince my wife that the trunk is sufficient:::)))) currently the lambo sales rep is working out the deal, delivery should be in Q2 2018. i will keep the car for 1-2 years and then decide whether i want to swap it for the 488GTO. i will test drive the performante in three weeks time, then sign the contract if it is what i expect. i had the huracan for a day a year ago and a gallardo for a week some time ago, so i am kind of familiar with the lambo feeling. tunnel vision and all that::::)))) but i really miss the looks of a supercar, this is where the GT3RS disappoints.
I would prefer a regular Huracan to the GT3RS, actually to any Porsche car, let alone the Perfomante go for it, no need for any test drive

Carlos from Spain:That rear wing should the fold down and only come up when at speed IMO, it looks specially wrong in the convertible...

Absolutely agree. Problem is, that with all those ALA ducts you can't build a retractable wing...
We're at the point where you can be the fastest or just sound like you're the fastest.
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.

Begs the question on how effective is the ALA system on the convertible version were all the aerodinsmic flow behind the windscreen is completely shot with turbulence from the open cockpit... Which makes the rear wing look even worse...
