    Current Discounts on 07s??

    Not sure if this has been talked about recently........

    All you current buyers of the '07 997s. Are you getting discounts and would you mind giving a ballpark % on what model and which region you live.

    Please share!

    Just curious what the current market is allowing or not allowing.

    7% 2006 C4S in 03/06, Midwest.

    I got 5% discount on an ordered 2007 C2. I am in New Orleasns, La. I think I could have gotten better if I would have shopped out of town, but I wanted to establish a relationship with the local dealer.

    I got 6% over invoice on a '07 911 C2, at my local dealer last Nov for a car to be competed this month. I called around and could get 5% over in OH, but didn't want to make the trip. Also my dealer would hassle over a loaner car etc. if you bought from elsewhere.

    5% off MSRP if you take one from the lot. Otherwise a $1,000 courtesy discount for special ordered cars. Miami, FL

    I spoke to 3 dealers in California. Two offered a $2500 courtesy discount on special ordered cars and one offered $1000. I likely could have received $5000 off if purchasing off the lot as each dealer commented that discounts are higher for in-stock cars.

    6.7% off retail on a 2007 I ordered in May 2006.
    Paint to sample that I am still waiting for.

    I will, in the future, be ordering an '08 C4S and would like to know the name (s) of the dealers in the Northeast offering 8-9% discounts on a custom ordered Porsche.
    Dealers on Long Island do you a favor by giving 4% off list!
