Yes they look similar, but the M5 wheels does not have space between the double bars if you understand me, they are solid.

Still not sure about this motor.... Have my order in, its been in for over a year now and I'm about second or third in the queue...
Looks good and the power sounds great although I much prefer the look of the current M3 and would have to seriously look at a CSL first... especially if the price takes a dive when the new shape comes out.

2 yrs , this will come down when they root out all the non seriouse buyers . They said the same for the M5 , then I found one on the shop floor in Chiswick , it was a cancellation just before collection , but , it still took a bit of time to shift when taking in to consideration a so called 2yr list....
So I take all dealership BS with a pinch of salt , show the crinklies and they will do there very best...

Yeah perhaps your right.... So easily the stealers can work their magic and have me believing everything!!!!!
There will be strong demand for this though... If the performance is as strong as they say and it drives as well or better than current it will be a good buy!

M3 news from the UK
Some UK dealers were mistakenly sent a fax this week from BMW AG which contained information about the new M3. The fax was not meant to be sent until May/June (they were meant to receive a fax about the availability of diesel engines in the e92 coupe). Anyway the details from the fax are:
Pounds48,954 SMG
Pounds47,250 Manual
To include SatNav, Bolster seats, PDC as standard
As well as "M Dynamics" - A new suspension, traction and braking system.
Available late 2007
