    much better, i don't know why that deal with the radio bothered me so much... hope the rain,snow etc. has abated some...remember the p-ad " pray for bad weather " well after driving my wifes new boxter home 500 miles from the co. dealer in what looked like eminent hail i have gone ammended that to,...but not to bad

    Jason, even less people who knows how to drive in the snow here in vancouver

    I can tell you that the TT drives quite good in the snow, even on the PS2s, and the front lip makes a great snow shovel for my driveway

    I took delivery on my ML63 on Monday IN the snow, it was quite unbearable knowing you got 500hp waiting and can't use them.

    Jason, how the hell did you manage to hold still for 1.3 sec with low light and a 105 macro (without VR!) I don't think there is enough room for a tripod in the car!!?

    D2X as well as a 997 Turbo mmm.. life must be good eh?

    moto, if you look at what I said earlier when replying to avi8tir's question, I did say that I was using the 105mm VR version. I actually rested the base of the lenses on top of the steering wheel. It was a challenge..the vibration of me revving the engine.

    I didn't realise Nikor does a 105mm micro with VR!

    Delightful photos taken very tastefully indeed

    I particularly like the profile shot and the close ups of the GT3 wheel, the tachometer, the Sport Chrono and the 997 mile landmark.

    But most of all, I really like the shot in the dark where the light just catches the top of the front wing.

    Please do keep posting whenever the inspiration catches you...:)

    The only carbon trim pieces that I have are on the steering wheel, across the dashboard, my shift knob and the e-brake handle. My rear console is leather.

    You could probably find pictures of a carbon rear console on www.europeanspeed.com.

    Adam, it was Photoshopped. My tailights are not actually blue. I was just trying to go for the "blue" look.

    Jason, which exhaust tips are you using? I am interested in buying these for my 997tt that arrives in a month or so. (hopefully!).I think i will stay with the stock exhaust modified with 100 or 200 cell cats since I really want to keep noise to a minimum and I like the looks of your tips!

    GT, those tips are the oval 88mm tips from cargraphic. I'm not sure if they're compatible with the stock muffler system but it's worth a try to ask Greg about that. Email him at sales@roadsportsupply.com and tell him I sent you. I also highly doubt that you'd be able to minimize the noise with a 100/200 cat system.
