I thought the ZP means Run-Flat (ZP = Zero Pressure, no)?

Correct, these are run flats. They do seem to have less tread than regular PSC2s, but I can't speak to the compound.

RC is not correct that this tire is only available through Mercedes. These tires are about $1500 USD / set through Tire Rack and other retailers.
