911 Product Information guide: email address by 7pm tonight
Please note: it's quite a big document so it takes a while to upload. So I would prefer not to have to keep emailing it again and again so, a little request, if you would like it, I am happy to send it to you, but please make sure you PM me your email address by 7pm GMT tonight so that I can add your email address to my email distribution list.
Those of you who are more privacy-sensitive, don't worry, I will send it bcc (blind carbon copy) so other people on the distribution list won't discover your email address. The email will be from 'zojebalah' - it's an anonymous email address I use sometimes. Just check your inbox AND your junk email/anti-spam/bulk email folder.
As for the document itself, it's really informative and repays careful study. I wish they would have included this information in the main 911 sales brochure.
BTW, this document is confidential to Porsche AG. It is intended for use by Porsche dealers to educate and train them with sales and technical knowledge about the 997 and 997S. It doesn't mention the 997 Targa, Turbo, GT3, GT3 RS or Cabriolet models since it was written when the 997 was first launched in Autumn/Fall 2004. At that time, only the 997 Carrera Coupe and 997 Carrera S Coupe models were available.
Regarding confidentiality, I am an ordinary member of the public. I am not contractually bound by any legally binding confidentiality agreement preventing me from sharing this information. Furthermore, I did not receive this information subject to any duty of confidentiality. As such, by sharing this document, I am not in breach of any legal obligation.
I have stated the legal position as I understand it as of 27 December 2006 as it applies to me under English law (the jurisdiction in which I am based).
Regards,
