    05 cs fuel pump

    my 05 cs (17k miles) started acting like it had bad fuel. this happened for about 5 minutes. whenever tack over 4k it started bucking. then it was fine. drove it 200 miles to dealer and was fine. dealer said fuel pump went and it has a extra pump that took over. needs 2 weeks to get new pump but said its fine to use. does this make any sense? if true, why would pump go after 17k miles?

    Well, we had eight (four a couple of weeks ago and now the other four) faulty ignition coils which needed to be replaced in our former Cayenne Turbo Powerkit at around 48000 km. Sh.t happens with every car, even a Porsche.

    Just be happy you can still drive your car but I'm not quite sure why it takes your dealer that long to get a new fuel pump. Your dealer should definetely be able to get one faster, even in the Dom. Rep.
