    Got it !!!

    WELL,

    what can i say, i am in total awe:)

    The car is awesome, AWESOME !!

    The sound, the feel, it's just another level, it really is...

    The 1st thing that struck me is the throttle response, it's amazing, and must be due to the lightweight flywheel, the tacho buzzes around like a nothing i've ever seen:eek:

    The sound from the exhaust in sport mode is very much like a cup car sounds, and is soooo addictive.

    The looks it got when just pulling onto the stationary traffic onto the A5 was unreal.

    Afraid the running in process lasted about 5 mins, and she was then upto 7k without even knowing it, it just wants to go man:evil:

    The PCCB's are great too.

    Didn't really get chance to push the handling in these conditions, but it feels very planted, and this new version of the CUP tyre is fantastic in these conditions, no drama from them at all.


    Everything about it, is soooo special, lost for words, i'm a very content man:)

    I cant say more about the GT3RS, I am lost in words

    I imagine it has to be a dream opening the garage door and seeing that orange spot sitting there

    Wish we could get that car in the US. I am just sick! You have an EXCELLENT 911!! That is about all I can say...

    In the US we can not have the lightweight flywheel, roll-cage, racing seats, 90 l fuel tank on and on and on. Is what is left a real RS? No it will always be a US RS which means it is 1/2 RS. Sometimes I wonder why Porsche even bothers to let us have manual transmissions!

    About the only benefit is that the dollar is cheap and the RS (and any Porsche for that matter) is much, much cheaper than most countries. I invite anyone to go to the Porsche website for the US vs. Germany build a car and compare the price (after currency conversion of course).

    It is incredible - even in Canada the price compared to the US is much higher. I know there are higher taxes and they may be included (esp. in Germany) but the difference is large anyway.

    All that complaining aside. I love the car. Give it hell and drive it like you stole it, always!

    Leawood, you are mis-informed.
    The NA comes with everything the ROW car comes with except the carbon seats and rool bar due to US (bullsh*it) gov regulations. The NA RS does come with a light flywheel.

    All I can say is you the man! What a fantastic looking car. I have a GT3 but I would love to upgrade to a RS. It's simply outrageous. Congrats.

    Are you certain the fuel tank is not smaller for NA?

    In terms of the clutch - I may have seen specs mentioning dual-mass and thought the ROW used light-weight single mass (in which case I am happy to be miss-informed as the revs must be quick!).

    In either case, Glenn's car is DA BOMB! 11 out of 10.

    My warmest congratulations Glenn. I know how tough your wait for the RS has been. As has already been said, don't worry too much about running in. My OPC said it really wasn't necessary for this car (very knowledgeable bunch at my OPC). Let me know if you also find yourself constantly driving with Sport pressed in. That noise will make you happy, whatever mood you were in before.

    Washed it twice today already!!!!

    Got a better feel for her today, the weather is fowl out there, but you can get full throttle down in the wet with no problems, the traction is amazing, even with these tyres..

    The engine is feeling more and free all the time, so taken her up to max a few times now:

    Goes like stink:)

    nearly got rear ended on the motorway today, as the traffic came to a hard stop, and i was watching the car behind me come up on me, but she stopped in time (just) but then got hit by the car behind her......i thought i was gonna get hit too:
