R8 V10 Plus with aftermarket wheels.

but it looks like it has an aftermarket body? The hood is different than stock and it's also much wider.

Probably one of those wide body kits (Prior offers this kind of stuff, there are others as well). To each his own. Smiley Not my thing.

Guys that take the time to go drive on secluded canyon / mountain roads or better yet at the track tend to drive less nutty in crowded areas. The itch has been scratched so you don't have to risk flying a helicopter in a China shop.

GT3...PDK AND Manual review by asphalte.ch

Main gripe about the manual: apparently there is no way to turn off the auto-blipping on downshifts...Kind of defies the purpose of having a manual in my opinion...

Smiley Avoiding crowded areas with lots of traffic and people is safe (at least for others) and doesn't attract much unnecessary attention. One reason that police and people react aggressively to sports car drivers are crazy behaviors of some drivers in public. You just cannot do donuts in the middle of a crowded public road and you cannot fully accelerate in a slow traffic area with many people around it.

The public in Germany is now very focused on "illegal" racing, which is often mostly two cars racing each others from a stop light to another. If you do that in a city center with a 50 kph speed limit at speeds of 90 kph and over and there are people (other drivers, pedestrians, etc.) around, you don't have to be surprised that you are going to pay a hefty price for that, especially if something bad happens.

When the reviewer doesn't realize that the sport button turns off rev match (and doesn't meaningfully affect the driving experience in any other way), then it affects their credibility as a reviewer on the whole. Smiley

I was a bit worried to not have thicked the LED , but I did it to get the "updated Xenon lights with the4 dots inside", which is the signature of .2 991.

I must say I'm happy with it, hopefully.

Still need to wait a bit, they discovered a painting issue close to the tank door.... seems porsche quality department has done some crappy job there.... Smiley

I'm still not decided if I should choose black or metallic black (I shall open a new thread about this soon) and if I should go with silver Xenon and silver wheels.

I saw a black GTS at the factory Porsche dealership and it looked stupendously beautiful. Photos don't do this paint justice.

Anyway, looking forward to a spin together with our new toys kiss

@Joel, to me the regular black looks sportier than the metallic black which is more elegant instead, so for a GT3.... But either will look great nevertheless.

I would go for platinum wheels with black as theirry has done. Black wheels with a black car looks wrong to my eye and is a played out look IMO.

While Porsche should be commended for trying to spice up the interior of the GT models, the stripe on the seats and the gigantic GT2 RS Weissach edition designation on the headrest look cheesy to me.
