    Cargraphic problems

    I had ordered a Clear Carbon rear wing and front lip from Cargraphic in the UK only to be told weeks later that the rear wing is not getting TUV approval as the down force is to strong!!! Can't believe my luck.
    New car is in the showroom now and I await delivery first week January 07 but no rear wing at this point. Very misleading given the website brochure and shots from Essen.
    Anyone else experiencing similar?

    I'm sorry to hear this. You should have asked "us" first.

    From my past experience, I picked a few Tuners/companies for certain parts/tasks. There is no company which does EVERYTHING good, so you have to be careful what you're picking. The sport exhaust and the engine mods sold by Cargraphic are first rate since they have been developed together with RS-Tuning (or actually MOSTLY by RS-Tuning).

    The "optical" stuff may be a different story. This is why I suggested that people WAIT with serious mods until we figure out what is "good" and what is "bad".

    Maybe Cargraphic can "compensate" the excessive downforce of the rear wing with a new front lip/front spoiler, you should just contact them to make sure that your car is SAFE.

    The peculiar thing is they are happy to send the front lip out without concern over aerodynamic changes that will have on its own? Aestheticaly this should look fine in the mean time but you wonder if it will hav an adverse effect on the car? The rear wing they now say is likely to be available at the end of January.
