Just wanted to post some pictures of the new car.
    2006 Cab C2S

    Re: New Member

Love the color - beautiful interior, is that a floor matt on the drivers side?

Is that your name on the bumper? Isn't that kinda like writing your name in your underwear? Is there that many red s coupes in your neighborhood? (said with a smile, not meant to provoke any animosity!)

    Re: New Member

Welcome, and great photos of your new car.

Have any comments on your clear plastic flooor mat?

    Enjoy!

    Re: New Member

    Nice, congrats.

    Re: New Member

Congrats. nice car. I use to live in shy town. divesity and sheridan. 8 years. I hope you get top off soon. winters are long and cold. but once the weather gets nice people go crazy.

    Re: New Member

The name on the back of the car "Joe Rizza", is the dealer we bought the car from. I hope to remove it as soon as the weather is nice, living in Chicago I figure March of 2007. The clear floor mat is from our old boxster, just wanted to see if it would fit.

    Re: New Member

Welcome!!! Great pics. Nothing like red on a sunny day.The best with your new car and hope you enjoy Rennteam

I would remove it right away with a proper solvent - maybe 3M's cleaner

Is Joe Rizza an authorized Porsche dealer? What respectable dealer slaps a decal on a P-car ?!?

He hoping he's got new Porsche owner who won't notice it.

I'd go back to him and give him a Robert Deniro, "You think I'm a CLOOOOWN? Huh? HUH? HUH? . Take that sticker off, TAKE IT OFF, TAKE IT OFF! You fuggin hear me? HUH?"

    Re: New Member

    Love guards red Congrats

    Re: New Member

    Nice pics. Congrats!

Just a suggestion... try to get that sticker/decal off as soon as you can. It may be harder to remove after it's been on the bumper for several months with temperature changes.

I picked up mine 2 weeks ago. Shame winter is upon us. Good luck with your new whip! I just know you will enjoy it!

Oh, so that's what that was all about.

Just to explain: I was in a men's clothing store yesterday which was obviously waiting for some guy called Calvin Klein to drop by and make a bulk purchase.

    Re: New Member

Hi Joe....Welcome to the forum and congrats on your car - I love Guards Red,...nice choice. I think I see the red belts in there too...v nice.
Definitely have them remove that Joe Rizza decal (unless of course you are the Joe in Joe Riza!). I would do it sooner than later because the bumper paint (over plastic) might discolor more rapidly than the rest of the body (just speculating).

I lived in Chicago two years - BSchool at UC - I think it's a wonderful city.

    Re: New Member

More speculation: I bet that adhesive on the sticker is the kind that gets stronger and stronger as time goes on. Nice huh?

Use your hairdryer to soften it up a bit before pulling it off.

I tried that approach several years back on another car and it worked like a charm. However, when trying to peal the sticker off, use plenty of patience. Pull slowly and gently, a little at a time and keep the hair dryer on the sticker. After you get the sticker off, wash the residue from the bumper. I've heard that the weight saving from the removal of a dealer's sticker is good for .1 off the zero to 60 time but since I don't have Sports Chrono I can't verify that.

    Re: New Member

Looks very nice. Gurads Red is an astounding color.
