Honestly, I think you should just go with what YOU want instead of asking all of us what we think and so forth. It's all personal preference, really. You've already gotten some good advice from us folks on here and Rennlist.

My view is that you need to strike a good balance between having enough contrast in respect of finishes, colours etc whilst maintaining a harmonious mix of colours.
Just what balance suits you is something only you can know. I think you should disregard what others say in relation to purely subjective matters and instead you should go sit in the car. Take hours if you need it. Choose every tiny detail the way you want it.
Just don't confuse yourself by thinking there's a rational answer to everything. You'll think and think and think till you're mentally tied up in knots. The answer is inside you already. Just use your intuition to access it.

What do you do for a living?
It is all a matter of taste, the only item that I find overpriced in relation to its outcome is the painted PCM package. There have been enough people on this board which were discussing their option lists, that should give you a little bit of insight.
