    Arrival of T4S

    Hey guys,

    For a couple of years now my dad has been looking for a Porsche and finally one caught his eye. Its a 2007 Targa4S that we saw while visiting my sister in St. Louis for Thanksgiving. It had to be fate...the car was not even unwrapped when we walking into the Pcar dealer in STL and my dad immediately fell in love. We have been waiting since then to get a closed carrier up here to Cincinnati and finally the car arrived today. Sadly, it was raining so its staying inside for the first day

    Here are some pictures...Its pretty much the launch vehicle for the Targa4S...

    very nice, you will have to take some night shots when there is a full moon from outside and inside.

    and please keep us updated with pictures. Targa's tend to allow for pictures more in my experience!

    How it came in. We did not specifically order this car. It was ordered by Parktown Porsche in STL. My dad likes the Turbo wheels and so do I, they have been growing on me. To each their own right? Im sure some poeple will ask, "Whats up with the tiptronic?"

    Im working on getting more pictures! I lost the charger to my camera so I cannot use mine, so I have to borrow a friends camera. When I am finished with exams (next week) you will see tons of pictures, don't worry. Right now I am bogged down with studying and the idea of a new Porsche in our garage is not helping my attention span!

    Here is a picture of the T4S's brother and garagemate (once the work is finished on the garage)

    Congratulations- 2 beauties!

    It seems that a lot of the T4S launch cars are red w/ Turbo wheels... my dealer had one (on same ship as my "baby") and my local dealer had basically the same car.

    I generally don't like the turbo wheels, but they are not bad on the red T4S.

    Thanks guys! I understand not everyone likes the Turbo wheels, no worries!

    The rest of the week should be nice weather here, so hopefully my dad will be able to take it out and enjoy the car! My moms very excited to cruise around as well. I put Abba's Greatest Hits in the CD Player last night for them so hopefully they can ride around all day and enjoy the view above them!

    Am assuming that's a 930 Slantnose - most choice.

    Slight contrast to a T4S Tiptronic..

    Went out for a drive today. My dad loves the car and he's not having fun keeping it below the 4200 RPM. We didnt push the car today at all on its first drive, just drove around and had some fun with the good weather. Here are some more pictures...

    I think the 997 Targa is one of the most beautiful targas Porsche ever made.
