Rotbart:That's Piech's car. I think it was discussed some weeks ago, painted callipers are a Porsche family only option (and some other special personalities like Mark Webber who got them on his 918).
There, Whoopsy, now you know what to do. You have to marry into the Porsche family.
Grant:Manual or PDK?
PDK as far as I remember but I have to admit that I didn't pay attention... Was too much distracted with those 918s and CGTs...

well, you did say that it managed to keep up, so probably PDK
Car was a Weissach pre-production car, so you never know what was under the hood. Those two accompanying Cayenne GTS were also in a pretty good shape.

Gnil:Gauss:Painted calliper
What is this color ? Voodoo blue ?
Looks lighter than Voodoo. Maybe Mexico or Riviera? Looks great with the Brown interior - hard to get that along with the Blue calipers.

No, like I said...pre-production car, only Porsche employees and certain (authorized) people are supposed to drive it. The times when I got the keys of a 911 pre-production car for a spin are (very) long over. Liability is a bitch...

Lord_Driftalot:That's Uschi Piechs car, she's even recognizable on that picture
I thought Mrs. Piech is a Ferrari fan? She has a great collection and rarely drives Porsche.

At her age, she should dial down a little bit on botox and hyaluronic acid because what will be left when she is over 50... Otherwise, nice...

Today at our OPC.
GT-Silver and Guardsred - they have another one in Karminred - Great.
Regarding AC on the Track - I still can feel a big difference during driving with or without with my 981 Spyder...
It's always off...
Maybe you can't feel it with 500 or 700 HP? Opinions?

I'm pretty sure that all Porsches (since the 944 Turbo in the mid-80's) have had a feature where the AC compressor turns off when you give full throttle. Do you feel a difference on the Spyder even when you have your foot to the floor?

Gnil:I used to turn if off in my Carrera S on track to gain power .... until I admitted to myself that it was probably more of a psychological factor then real boost
No different than when the car is not accelerating fast enough and we find ourselves leaning forward on the seat as if that was going to make it faster

Always flat out on track...you really can feel it.
But I can also feel, if a tank is full or 1/2...some say 30Kg make no difference...they should not order the Weissach-Paket with their GT2.
I do a lot of Karting, we are driving for 1/100 sec - there you are getting sensible.
