    F-430 running costs

Could someone post the running costs for the F-430. The Factory stuff. Like when I go to by the thing when do I need to change what and stuff like that. thx

    Re: F-430 running costs

The schedule calls for service at 5k and 15k, or annual fluid changes at a minimum. At a California dealer, that will run around $1200-1400/yr. No belt service of course with chain drive.

Oil, fluids and hoses if necessary. My 5000 mile check up involved all the above and the cost was $1120.00.

Doesn't nick complain about Porsche fleecing its customers?

Seems like a double standard to me..

    Re: F-430 running costs

Need to also incl costs of new tires and clutches dpdg upon mileage/driving style....

Running costs for F's in svc/consumables are fairly trivial ...major oper cost is deprec, which dpdg upon mileage, is prob a major variable in ex-US mkts....and, in US, most guys seem to be clueless re: figuring out how to move up F's mythical waitlists to get new F's every 6-12mos @MSRP....but most of these guys prob can't get a desirable rsvn/table at a decent restaurant/club either......

In US, many guys have gotten new F's every 6-12 mos w/$0 deprec cost after 5K mis of thrashing use.....but given dubious safety engineering/systems of F (vs P/MB), one needs to value risk to one's health/life near $0 to simplistically conclude F is cheaper overall than any P/MB in US mkt (in comparable scenarios where one gets new F/P/MB every 6-12mos after some 5K mis of use)....

How confident are you in Lamborghini's safety engineering/systems? Significantly better than Ferrari? Equal to Porsche?

Nick, you actually drove the car more than 5000 miles!? And everyone was ranting about how you were obsessed about keeping the cars value

Compared to gallardo 1500 mile service 265 and 7500
mile service 465. Typical Ferrari high maintenance,
    although it is getting better.

    Re: F-430 running costs

it will cost you your first child. Probably the second too. And when you'll have sold all your children, it will go up in flames. Just like any ferrari actually.

Here is a new F430 with the factory installed BBQ.

Make sure you get complete replacement value insurance.

    I was just kidding.

I just wish I had a F430 instead of my A3. Although maitenance for ferraris cost a lot more than for porsches.

My F430 (15000km in 20 months) did cost me 800 EUR up to now (new brake pads). Tire wear is less than on my Porsches (ok, I drove them harder). First service was for free as a compensation for the problems I had with my F1 (the car was away for four weeks).
