BjoernB:Apex has apparently done 10000 km on the NBR without a issue with the 2RS - THAT is THE measure - for me
Yeah
They were planning to do about 350 NBR laps this year. So around 7.000km.

Anyone know how the NVH levels of a 2RS compare to a .2 3RS under street / highway cruising conditions? Would like to know if the higher gearing and turbos result in a slightly less shock and awe than the NA setup. Asking for a friend

Suspension is stiffer, so there is one difference.
And it doesn't go shock and awe, it simply went nuclear when the pedal is pressed.
It doesn't have the beautiful engine note from the NA cars, but a moot point as you won't have time to enjoy any engine note since you will be busy dealing with the fast approaching horizon.

Just wait until he gets that Model 3 performance. OMG. I can’t wait.
Actually, I can’t wait until all of you drive one. Not holding my breath.

You remember I outran a Tesla 3 Performance in my AMG truck? By half a car length by still...
The Performante is one of the quickest cars on this planet from 0-100 kph, not that it really matters because I'm not really a fan of drag racing. Still, considering it is one of the last n/a dinosaurs, it is impressive.

reginos:IMO the purest supersports car currently available is the EVO RWD. No turbos, no AWD, more interesting handling. However Lamborghini haven't managed to reduce the weight significantly.
The Evo RWD is not much different than the Evo, minus the RWD. The marketing department did a good job.
When the Evo was announced, I was really afraid that my Performante would look and feel outdated. I drove the Evo on two occasions, the car disappointed a lot. Of course it is a very nice evolution of the regular Huracan but in terms of fun factor, it doesn't even come close to the Performante. This is like comparing a 911 Carrera (not even S) with a 911 GT3 RS. No kidding. I don't know how the Italians did it but when you switch to Corsa in the Performante, the car becomes the most analogue sports car I ever drove and this includes all 911 GT3 RS versions. The sounds this car makes, I am not talking about the exhaust only, are incredible. It spits, it crackles, it shoots, it clacks, it clicks, it whistles, so many different mechanical noises, unbelievable. Once you switch back to Sport or Strada, everything is gone, only the exhaust sound stays (Sport). The Evo is completely different: In Corsa mode, the exhaust gets louder (almost as loud as the Performante exhaust with a few differences) and the gearbox shifts faster, the chassis becomes stiffer and the steering more direct but...thats it. All those mechanical noises I described from the Performante are completely missing in the Evo and this includes the RWD version.
To understand, you really have to drive the Performante. I am not surprised that two of my buddies decided to get used Performante instead of the new Evo.

Details about the AMG truck please? Are you talking about to top speed? My little one does 60 in 2.9 seconds all day long. No launch control. No overheating. Hmm. Quarter mile in 11.6 sec at 118.
Price of the truck? Are you certain the Model 3 was trying. If you were driving it I believe you. If it was just some street encounter you may not have witnessed him trying. Either way. Fast AMG truck. Nice going.
I believe I have several camera angles of the last Hurricane I raced to 70 or so. Don’t know if he tried but it was several car lengths. It was wet and I had snow tires on.
