Agree! But, that car did not have 520hp(test car). Bad motronic or something...
Here are(unofficial) corrected data for Gallardo 520hp:
0-100km/h: 3.9s
0-200km/h:12.6s
0-250km/h:21.1s
0-300km/h:40.6s
Max speed: 318km/h
Do not forget that first LP640 test in AMS was also not very impressive. On the second run(High speed test) LP640 did far better. Same story with Gallardo...

Your are one of the very few people who did his personal tests and your results are excellent. Also, your conclusion that 0-300km/h of all cars in the same class(997tt, F430 or Gallardo) is more or less at the same level is another excellent work.

I have to wait the official lambo dealer open in Turkey (soon it will opened) then selling maybe the best choice. But first just hoping the car fixed asap

Kreso , how do you know those better Lambo figures will be out next month?
I really can't understand Gallardo peeformance on this test but there are already to many tests with Gallardos performing way worst then all competition. Have you seen Gabriel videos, GAllardo was destroid on every race made.

Kreso, thanks for posting this test! Also, it seems that the Gallardo is finally getting the performance it has deserved since the beginning. Can't wait for the 550 bhp version

Regarding racing... You mean straight line racing?
If that is the case then Gallardo is slower then 997 Turbo, F430 or Z06 TILL 250km/h. After 250km/h situation is as Markus correctly pointed out more or less the same. All this cars are almost the same till 300km/h.
BUT, Gallardo is way faster then all of them on the race track. In fact Gallardo(520hp) was faster on every track then F430, 997tt or Z06.

And another word concerning the relatively slow test data: the most important thing is how the car feels , so if you're satisfied with it, why bother?

Gallardo feels very powerfull with excellent engine response, even at low revs. Only thing that is missing little bit on Gallardo engine is "laufkultur". It is producing small vibrations at some revs... Otherwise, car is great IMO. Best traction in all sportscars(new R8 will be even better since its engine is not that powerfull) and sound to die for(almost at the same level as F430 here).
But, your opinion about M6 victory? I would really like to see the person who will go for M6 instead buying F430, Gallardo or 997 Turbo(if money is not the issue...). Even R8 is closer to these beasts then M6. And R8 will be faster then M6(and suprise, suprise) and some other more expensive/powerfull competitor on race track. More? Soon...

BTW, Hockenheim time for 997 Turbo(manual, LSD, PCCB) is 1.13,7min(same time as 997 Carrera S with -20/LSD, PCCB!!!) and Gallardo time is 1.11,8min!
F430(Corsa's, Ceramics) time is 1.12,8min so, get your own conclusion...

Honestly I kind of like the M6. To be precise, I'm not a big fan of the so called Bangle-design of BMW, but for a Coupé like the 6series it fits best, far better than for a limousine like the 7series for example.
And the M6 is an even better interpretation of that theme than the standard 6series. Combined with that fabulous V10 the M6 surely is a great car, a Gran Turismo in the original meaning of the word.
Would I buy one? Honestly no. There are several reasons why. First of all I'm not really a GT-type-guy (although the 599 GTB tempts me a lot
), for me the M6 is too heavy and too big. I would prefer a 997 for example anytime, still GTish enough, but more of a sportscar. And finally as I said before, although the design of the M6 looks quite coherent to me I'm still no fan of Mr. Bangle.

I remember a review in another car magazine (Powercar?) and the Gallardo SE did 0-200 kph in over 13 seconds. So I guess there are SUBSTANTIAL fluctuations in power which may indicate a problem with engine quality control.
